Mike: Does the calibration work with o-symmetrics rings?

Also, do the BB30 Quarks have better heel clearance, in the same that normal bb30 cranks do over standard 86mm?

Completely useless product (for me) without 180mm crank option.

Mieke - Are the ELSA powermeters also shipping in February or are they ready to go now? Seems like there are some samples already around the place, e.g http://www.flickr.com/photos/glorycycle ... 414368663/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Thanks for the info.

The ELSA powermeters are available now. We have been shipping them for a week. The RIKEN powermeters will be shipping at the end of February.

I would like to know if I can purchase the new hollow carbon arms and install my older Quarq model on them. Anyone know if that will be possible?

The new Exogram carbon arms will not be sold separately. They are only sold with the complete power meter setup.

The brochure for the new models mentions "clearance for oversize bottom brackets" for the Riken, but as far as I can see the back side of the spider looks the same for all the most recent models.

Can anyone confirm that the Red quarq, Elsa and Riken should all have the same clearance?

You can remove the preload adjusted from a BB30 S975 Quarq and it the spindle will fit in a BB386 bike, but the cadence magnet ring of the spider just interferes with my frame. Wanting to know if the newer models are more likely to work.

cwdzoot,

Is that the weight for the whole crank or just the drive side?

Yes, I would like to know that as well. Also, what is the crank length? Compact or standard?

I am a bit skeptical that it comes in 120g lighter than my 110BCD 170mm HG SRM, but you never now.

As I wrote in a similar discussion in the New powermeter rumours thread
http://www.quarq.com/quarq-elsa-10r wrote:Weight 735g (GXP, 130BCD, 172.5mm)

Yes, quarq website figure is for GXP, not BB30, nevertheless ...

I have seen all that but the man has one on a scale and it looks like it is just the drive side, but always best to not assume.
