My cervelo seatpost is 24cm long and it is 8cm inside , is it normal ? Cervelo s3 slc is my bike

Normal is relative, but 8cm inserted is fine. Cervelo only requires 65mm in their frame.
As far as the overall length of the post, they are available in a few lengths, larger frames getting longer posts stock.
