Very classy one of the best examples I've seen in a while.

Glue is the only way to go. Any electric tape finish looks amateurish. Using the provided tape even more so. :)

dont talk about my electrical tape that way!

If you have to rewrap the tape, the end is ruined; pretty much a whole wrap of tape.

I keep on forgetting to use a piece of heat shrink tubing to secure the upper tape ends.

I use self amalgamating electricians tape,to finish off the tape end, stretch it as you wrap a couple of layers and it gives a neat end with no sticky residue or adhesive to come unstuck or unravel.

That's pretty cool.

The neatest finish I've seen is using superglue to hold the tape at the end. When I bought my Parlee it came this way.

How about some form of Velcro? Too tacky?

pretty cool...did you cut yours in half? the width looks twice as long. the one that they sell on eBay is pretty wide and doesn't look as good as what you have on.

I love the tip about starting and then unwinding back to the plug. That will sort out that end for me.

I like those Enve bars with the fold over rubber domes. Does anyone make plugs that look like that?
I'm left handed, if that matters.

No, they are not cut. They tend to loose a bit of length as they stretch over the handlebar. They are a very tight fit.
(the picture is probably a little deceptive.)
