I got them somewhere. Pm me later and I'll look for them tomorrow.
Hi Bro,
I was browsing this forum and found a reference to you :-)
From what I see on the web, you're probably only one person who could help me ... I hope :-). I am looking for firmware e-tube_proj_v_2_3_0.exe, and your earlier answer indicates that you had something like this. Hence my question -do you still have this firmware? And could you share with me of course :-).
Thank you and best regards,

I can't answer you on your pm cause i'm fresh here:-). So i try to fix to cross Di2 hardware based on the 6700 series components with the rear derailleur RD 6870. I downgraded the software in all components on 2.5.2 firmware, unfortunately I can't do it on RD 6870 and now only front derailleur works :-(.However, I have heard that the firmware e tube 2.3.0 or soft for RD6870 called rd6870.2.5.0.dat can help. Hmm

Can anybody help me out.

I have a fairly early 6770 groupset. I would like to swap out the shifters and use ST-R785 shifters instead to get hydro brakes, but still keep it 10spd.
I would probably need to update the software, but to a certain version. What are the thing I need for that?

Can I use SM-BCR2 to update the software or do I need the older SM-PCE1?
I assume the old firmware versions are not publicly available from Shimano?

If you mount the ST-RS785 with the rear derailleur 6770 you will follow with 10 speed, you will need to update the firmware of the battery support to recognize the levers.....If you have the juction EW67, you have to use the SM-PCE1.....with the EW90 or RS910, you can use the BCR2 or SM-PCE1

Do you think Dura-Ace FD-9070 cage is stronger than Ultegra FD-6770 cage?

I just got a set of 6770 Di2 levers can you pair them with 6870 11spd Di2 Rear Mech? If not will 8050 Di2 front and rear mech pair with 6770 levers?

I'll be going with 6770 wires for the cockpit/front Di2 mech battery wire and RS910 e-tube di2 junction A charging port.

Yes, if it doesn't work, you should update the firmware of the levers, for the battery (or external battery holder) to recognize them

If this means you'll use SM-EW67A-E AND the EW-RS910 junction on the same bike... you can't (only one Junction A allowed per bike).

Other than that there is no difference between 6770-wires and any other current Di2 wire, they're all EW-SD50 wires ;-)
(Just don't buy EW-SD300 by accident ;))

I apologize for the elementary questions. This is my first foray into Di2 and its inner workings. I pretty much dismissed the possibility due to the exuberant cost until I came across a great deal for 6770 Di2 levers. That got me thinking maybe I can put it together for roughly the same cost of running a mechanical groupset.

From my research, I see post-2014 a 6870 front and rear derailleur are both required to allow 6770 levers to work with an 11-speed cassette. With that in mind, I priced out the cost for a complete build...

$103 Di2 6770 levers
$120 Di2 6870 front mech(lightly used, unable to locate new) $210 R8050 Di2 front mech
$161 Di2 6870 rear mech $250 R8050 Di2 rear mech
$24 EW-SD50 wire kit
$131 EW-RS-910 E-Tube Di2 Junction A (2 Port)
$85 3 Port SM-EW 90 Junction A (5 Port $105)
$130 Di2 SM-BCR2 charger (Non-series $110)
$160 BT-DN110 Di2 battery

Just a couple of questions so I get this right...

The SD50 wire kit, is that for connecting the levers to the Junction box? How many do I need?

What's the difference between 3 port vs 5 port SM-EW90 Junction? I do prefer the cleaner/hidden look of the EW RS 910 E-tube, what do you recommend?

Do I need a wire kit to hook up the front and rear mech in the seat tube? Does the BT-DN110 Di2 battery come with a sleeve to hold it securely in the seat post?

Being that a new 6870 Di2 front mech is unavailable, is it worth the cost to spend a little more for R8050 Di2 mech front and rear?

Where do I get the firmware to make it work, can you download it online for free or have to purchase it?
