Ya know what - there's nothing that appeals to me about those. I would probably be accused of having my pedals fall off...

Light is one thing, but those are something else entirely.

Didn't another company have a similar design years ago and went out of business?

Aside from the cylinder bolt mech thing, it looks like Aerolite.

And the cleats seem a little smarter - you don't have to drill holes in your shoes to mount them.

I like them and I'm interested, well done. Will you have Cleat float options of 7º and/or 9º in the future ...

Any samples available :-)

$450US for the lightest version. Out of my league, but I wish them for the future and hope pedals aren't the only thing they do once things take off for them

I'd need a couple of years of real world (i.e. WW forum) history and a steep discount to consider these.
Hope they make a success of it.

You're thinking about m2racer. They made cool products

I also wonder how these feel like, especially in terms of stability and foot/pedal connection.

We have a pair, first ride will be today. Wish me luck in not falling over at stoplights. Will report back.

The VN story posted above has verified weights on our scale. 73 grams for both pedals, 125g for everything (pedals, cleats, bolts).

The design is a sort of mix between M2 and the old Aerolite pedals. Interesting concept, but will take some getting used to.

New weight weenie pedals on the market- who will trial them?

I genuinely can't see how these types of pedals are comfortable underfoot.

I for one would love to trial a pair of these on my SLC. It would bring down the weight by 50g over my modified speedplays. and I really like this design of pedal system but I have always hated the aerolites because of the cleat system and what you needed to do to use them on standard shoes.

If they are on here and want someone to ride these pedals for a while, SIGN ME UP and I would love to get my build back down to under 13 lbs and these pedals look super aero. lol :beerchug:

Comfort under your foot with these pedals should be no different than any other pedals, granted you're riding a shoe with a stiff carbon sole. It appears the actual playform that's touches your shoe is just as large as most other pedals.

I'm curious to know how clipping out is, and if this design would lead to more accidental clipping out. Maybe not good for a strong sprinter who has a lot of pull on his pedals.

VN has a little video. It looks very easy.
