I've got a 120mm stem and it weighs in at 125g.

Going to check my scales. Has anyone got a picture of the stem and bar together? I was going to change my bars to go with the stem but I've been put off by someone satin they don't match in a previous post.

Looks like a Deda Newton Deep.

Really? Isn't the Newton Deep way more rounded?

Last time I saw the bike it was a Newton Deep all right. :)

Those bars have an interesting shape on the top portion. Are those semi-flat? Looks almost square.

Kjetil: cool, thanks. Looks so rad on the De Rosa, with the drops tilted parallel to the top tube.

Obviously many of you have installed these on your bikes.Could you please tell me safe torques (Nm) without slippage, when installing Superleggera bars to the Superleggero stem.
Only information i have found is on Deda website, first 5Nm then 8Nm.This is way too much, i think.
I do have a good torque wrench (Wera), and always use carbon paste for this kind of jobs.
Thanks in advance.

After applying carbon paste, I'd start carefully making sure the gaps are even on both face plates top & bottom. I slowly tightened all 4 bolts to 4.5 newton meters. 4Nm may be enough. As you said, I wouldn't feel good about going over 5nm. Also, I wouldn't go past 7Nm to 8Nm on the shifter clamps. Campy says 10nm but I don't think that applies to these thin walled bars. Good luck.

Yes, Deda Newton Deep. Love them.

Cerro, the bike has a 54 cm top tube and weighs about 6.8 kg with SR and the Boras.

I have been talking with the deda engineer.. superlegera/superleggero is made to be good in stifness to weight ratio, however they are not engineered to be as stiff as Deda35.
I use 35 superleggera bar + 35 alloy stem 120mm and all together feels really stiff. The bar is very stiff on the top but not so on the drops.

I'd like to see both Deda's Superleggero and Trentacinque stems in the results of the next batch of Fairwheel Bikes’ stem review.

Just purchased matching set for a new build.

Stem in 110mm. This is the second of these stems I've bought, this one is 5 grams heavier in the same size then the first.

Bars in 44cm
