Looks great, using the 35 at the moment but would be happy to get these muted colors.

Has Deda ever not lied about the weight? :)

Abolutely. It's just that Deda Elementi's listed weights correspond to what the products would weigh on a celestial body with about 20% lower gravitational force than on Earth, and then translated back to what that would be in grams per gravity on the Earth's surface. Now, if you want to call that lying ...

Ah, it's a nightmare choosing bar and stem and then seeing this. Really like Deda and lightweight is always nice, Another nice option on the list ;)

I wonder if their weights are true if you remove all the bolts?

That wouldn't explain handlebars weighing more than advertised.

I was tempted to buy some Edge bars . Advertised weight was well under 200grms. I got the chap at the shop to weigh them , they came in at 237grms . Even the chap selling them was shocked how much heavier they were . He said I was the first person to ask for them to be weighed.

One the one hand nothing from Italy called "Superleggero" has ever sucked...on the other hand I find 99g for 110 mm *really* hard to believe. Although if you look at the face plate it's a two piece. That will shave a few grams but would also worry me a bit w/ carbon bars.

I'm going to allow 16 grams of BS for a total of 115g at 110mm.

Anyone laid their hands on one of these stems or bars? I love the looks but and am interested in the real weight.

If you look at the shape of the steerer clamp, you can see probably 1-1.5cm3 of materials shaved, which probably translates into 3-4 grams, so 120-125g is probably about right, which is actually not bad.

The trend is simply shifting from the old sculpted steerer clamp (ala Newton, Stella Azzurra Viceversa) towards simply round sleeve like seen on Syntace, UNO, etc.
