It started at 167 grams so im pretty happy with the savings! I think it will be around 139-138 when im done with it.

At last some drillium back on WWs!!! :D

Far and near do a nice tuning kit for DA. But it does come with parts you don't need. However you should ask if they will sell you an Al main pivot bolt by itself.

Have you considered trying to make yourself a Ti spring? There are 2 in the rear and one in the front. If you figure it out there could be a little side business for you

Seriously. You just destroy good lookin' components for a few grams? In my opinion this looks like shit. Sorry.

I think what you're doing here is fantastic stuff. Love that you've taken the trouble to do all this work. It's been lacking on here for a while. Chapeau sir. Keep up the good work.

It's his groupset not yours he his attacking with a dremel. If it breaks in use or problems arise again it is his mech not yours. I don't think he is doing it for how it looks.

Let him moddify in peace.

Also a tip, winks come across as condescending

I understand aesthetics completely! I actually think there should be a sub-forum just for matching bar tape to saddles or whatever the thing is these days. Drillium and pushing limits on a component is what I loved about weightweenies. The gems are rare these days but when one pops up, it's nice to see how light you can go on a part.
