I almost got sea sick just looking at this picture. It's one thing having curves which provide some performance or engineering benefit (other than marketing engineering), but it's another thing having curves and kinks just for a brand identity. Look started going down hill in some respect several years back when they introduced a "kink" into the top tube of one of their (low end) models (566?), and was open about it just being for brand identification rather than some performance or engineering purpose.

You nailed it on the head hammertime. Look has some design features which seem to be very forward thinking such as their tt bikes having an under 30mm external steerer headtube years before the Trek Speed Concept and their Zed crank system.

However, the kinked top tubes and the new stem aligned with top tube thing is just ridiculous. I love some Looks but also think some of their bikes are silly.

GZA, pretty sure its not Easton. The only new tt/aero wheel they released was a EC70 model.

I can't imagine a ~60mm aluminum wheel weighing that little though.

I agree with HammerTime . There is a clowns outfit just to the left out of shot that you have to wear with this bike  it's compulsory .

thanks, but i was hoping to see all displayed bikes and frames... maybe they'll add pics later on :noidea:

i agree TT rig looks ridiculous. the 675 looks stupid as well. i imagine it has some aero advantages, but i'd rather sacrifice those tenths of seconds and ride something more.... normal. guess i'm gonna stick to my 'old' Looks then..

So Lightweight wasn't going to actually reveal what was in the box at all. Maybe poster from the last page correct. There wasn't anything in there after all and they simply wanted ideas from the fan base to get the ball rolling. Not too happy about that.

Got to say that the 695 Aero limited's fork is the slickest of the "internal brake" solutions so far. Is it routed through the steerer?

Shame they didn't figure out a nicer solution for the other cables, though!

Love the look of the 695 Aero, except that it doesn't look so aero. Likewise with the TT bike. Show me white papers and I'll be a believer, but until then, all look has succeeded in is creating brand identity. Which they already had in the first place, so

But I am intrigued, especially since the Alpha 340's have gone up in weight.

The 340 Alpha's are still a good alternative.

I am seriously considering these as a training/climbing wheel... http://www.ebay.de/itm/200814944734?ssP ... 475wt_1160

Nice weight to price ratio.

I think the Novatec rims are made by Gigantex... I could be wrong though.

Edit: This doesn't answer the questions above, but I found this, which has the information card at the Time display:

I removed the image tag because it is big.

Definitely iClic, the xpresso has "iClic" stamped on the back.
