Weight Weenies

I've really enjoyed riding my BMC ProMachine since 2005. Great climber, responsive and precise, a bit high strung on descents but a work of art to look at. But after 7 years I was ready for something new. I ended up purchasing a 2012 Cannondale EVO with Sram. It arrived last night and after a quick assembly, got out for a short ride today. First impressions: this bike really moves when you stand up on the pedals, so stable and well balanced and a joy to hit the apex of a turn. So design, technology and performance continues to march forward. So with some regret, I'm moving on from a Swiss work of art to the more competent German and unflappable road machine. The question I have is what components to bring along on the new ride and how best ultimately get the stock Cannondale/SRAM/Mavic Ksyerium Elite EVO on a diet from just under 15 lbs to a much more respectable 12 to 13 lbs.

BMC: Campy Record/carbon Richey bars/ Richey alloy stem/ HED Ardennes clincher wheel set/ carbon seat post/ Specialized Romin saddle

I would say first order of business should be a nicer set of wheels.

Wheel selection short list? HED Ardennes Clinchers have been great but not the lightest.

Carry over your Campy or upgrade to Chorus 11 if you are on 10 speed.
Get a nice carbon bar and matching seatpost (Enve, Zipp, Pro Vibe, 3T).
IF you like Spec Romin saddle, why would you change?
As mentioned, get some superior wheels, start with Lightweight Standards if you want light.
