Praxis classic or clover chainrings
Moderator: robbosmans
I have the clover compact, and, for the life if me, cannot get a smooth shift from 34t to 50t with di2 9070. I disassembled, assembled, and realigned rings and the derailleur . I even replaced the chain with a new one. Still, it skips shifting once in a while.
BTW, cranks are THM Cla.
Any idea on what might be wrong?

I've found that the 9070 FD is very sensitive to precise adjustment with praxis rings. Ensure minimum height to teeth, perfectly parallel cage ( run your fingers along it to feel the parallel) and rock solid FD mount including properly placed and tensioned support bolt with aluminum plate. Then it should be perfect shifting as I have.
FD is about a little less than 3mm above the ring. The cage is really really parallel to the ring as well. The chain length is correct (did b-b +2, and calculated as well.) I am thinking about adding 2 more links and trying again.
I have 4 other bikes, one is another 9070, and one 7970. They shift flawlessly. Praxis is the one giving me trouble...

Old topic but ok..
I went to buy set of Praxis but I pause checkout button to certify some infos and now I'm confused about weight....
FairWheell (as said here) list
Clover 53/39 = 120,7g
Classic 53/39 = 126,7g
R2bike list (with pics) as:
Clover (black2tone) 53/39= 154,7g source
Classic 53/39 = 144,9g source
Are really Clover Black2tone 34g more heavy than Clover or all models increase weight over the time?
The weight sequence are (nowadays): Clover < Classic < Clover black2tone ?
(sorry my english)

Thanks.
I bought a set of Clover (hard black). Hope they are closer 120g. Fairwheel and lots of users here can't be wrong in choose them over Classic model to save weight.
I'll try post a pic on the scale when arrive.
