Dura Ace C35 clincher

Does anyone have something good (or bad) to say about this wheelset.

Currently running the older DA scandium which is very durable. I am looking for some dampening from the carbon and more aero rim.

I plan to switch between the Scandium C24 and C35 depending on the condition.

I have nothing good or bad to say because I don't have any first-hand experience, but if you already have the C24, why not consider a higher profile wheelset like the C50?

I already have the RS80 C50. It is a bit heavy but I love the ride quality. My C24 doesn't have the carbon.
I want something that is easy to handle in the wind.

Actually, just remembered there were a couple recent topics on the C35. Here you go:

I test rode a pair and they were lovely and stiff under my 97kg. Decided not to buy them though, £1,200 for a pair of semi deep clinchers weighing in at approx 1650 g did not seem like reasonable value.

I have plenty of good things to say about them. Shimano wheels are great. The only real drawback to them is they are a bit hefty. If you want something lighter that handles wind well you can't go wrong with Enve 3.4 If the weight doesn't matter then you can't go wrong with the Shimano.

However I will say if you are going to buy Shimano ones don't buy them now. Wait 8 more days.

Something to do with 11 speed perhaps...

Lots of things will happen in 8 days, the sun will rise and set, babies will be born, people will ride their bikes and I'm sure other things will happen as well.

They're not great value in relation to the CL24s which are a fair bit lighter and cost £550 or so.

All DA level wheels are the same save for the 24, 35, 50 and 75 mm rims. Spoking across all of them is 16/20.

Why the C35 rims cost £250 a piece more than the CL24s is beyond me. Plus as a heavier racer (83kgs) I need as little extra inertial as possible for hills/sprint. I rode both sets but went for the CL24s b/c I tend to ride bumpy (lots of little hills) and curvy courses so acceleration > aero for me.

Ha, I waited, The DA 9000 wheels looks quite amazing, in that they have widened it to 23mm. (wish it was 24 like the tubs)
However not sure if I prefer hidden nipples, and I don't like the notches they added on the rim surface, which is why I didn't buy the CL24.

I just figured it was worth waiting because even if you don't like the new ones, at least the old ones should be put on discount at some places.
