Has anyone used this can provide some feedback? I am thinking of getting one to replace the force big ring, setup for fast and flat rides. Is it worth the weight penalty, is it alot stiffer and would shift better?

I use them on my TT bike. They work just fine. You are not going to be any faster/slower compared to your standard chain ring if using the same size ring (like a 53 on both). Where you can pick up some benefits is by going from a 53 to a 54 or 55t ring. It really depends on the course that you are racing on. At the same rpm, a larger ring will add speed and/or provide a better chainline efficiency (a straighter chainline) becuase you won't have to shift down on the rear cassette asw much.

I run one on my Sram crankset - no dramas and plenty stiff.
