Would loooooove a photo of SL8 with CLX50's!
Here's a photo of my 58cm Project Black with 9170 DA and CLX50 wheels
Very nice!
Which kind of saddle do you have?
Berk?
That's an S-Works Power from the 2016 S-Works Venge Vias in Satin Project Black. I sold that bicycle many years ago, but kept the saddle from it. Hard to find those in white!

Hello, I have to post my impressions. I recently upgraded from a Venge S Works 2019 to the SL8 S Works.
Upgraded 9170 to 9270 too. Kept the wheels CLX50s, tyres GP5000S TR and saddle S Works power with carbon rails.

My goodness. Night and day different. For the better.

- A lot more comfortable, it's incredible
- Does not feel any slower
- Circa 300 lighter overall
- Climbs much better in particular when the gradient goes up
- Descend much better, more stable

Just sharing as there are still quite a few people on the Venge who might be considering this move.

Same experience going from Venge to Sl8 ( I think I shared my thoughts with you on this previously) I still have the Venge but when I ride it now I'm wishing I was on the Tarmac.]

Thanks for replying
I read it was a Specialized saddle but didn’t recall they offered a white one as well

Did you route the RD cable behind the hanger? Are you not worried about it getting hit by the chain when in the smallest cog?

7195g, frameset was light (731g bare) but group and cranks are heavy.

The plastic guide thingy on the back of the derailleur seem to help keep it out of harms way. But thanks for the input, perhaps I´ll reconsider.

I think that looks badass! Honestly if I wanted to stick with roval and shave weight, I might go for CLX 50 set and save thousands of dollars over team version lol. I'm still not 100% sold on the staggered look. It grew on me a little but 50 / 50 always looks badass and I used to love those wheels on my SL6 and SL7

past a 56 cm the sl8 lines are complete disaster. the headtube is wider than the slim downtube. just terrible. you should have kept your sl7 with clean lines.

Probably by an amount most here would file a warranty case for, since you can't ride such a bike ;-)
Yeah, all that for the sake of 10 minutes with a spoke key.....

Just saw a 2025 silver colorway of a 2025 Pro with Ultegra. Quite interesting that they've added in the Roval one-piece stem and a Mirror saddle (Pro I think with Titanium rails). The poster notes the increase in price, but the upgrades in finishing kit are pretty sweet.

Not sure anyone noticed, the 2025 models are coming with more realistic handlebar widths.

52 and 54 come with a 400mm, although I'm not sure I fully agree with a 90mm stem on the 52.

Next thing they need to correct is crank length.

These things really should be configurable in this day and age for $16k.
