Is it more important how it looks or how it works ?ciaranpark wrote: ↑Tue May 30, 2023 11:45 amLots of shots in the latest app release

Function is obviously important, however it's hard to comment on that when we know zero information. When campy is demanding the price point it does, I'd say yes, form is important to me, as much as function.jazgill wrote: ↑Tue May 30, 2023 12:01 pmIs it more important how it looks or how it works ?ciaranpark wrote: ↑Tue May 30, 2023 11:45 amLots of shots in the latest app release

I'll be likely adopting the power meter crank, but the SR12 EPS is far prettier imho
I don't feel that people's grievances are unreasonable.robertbb wrote: ↑Tue May 30, 2023 10:11 amI'd hate to be Campy with all the whinging going on here and elsewhere.
If Campy went full wireless: "Look at those bulky derailleurs, Campy gonna die!"
If Campy went internal battery: "Not even wireless, Campy's gonna die!"
If Campy releases a rim brake option: Campy's relying on its heritage and old men on Steel bikes... Campy's gonna die!
If Campy doesn't release a rim brake option: Campy's not catering to its heritage, Tullio would be spewing, Campy's gonna die!"
If Campy stuck with traditional chainring sizes and 11t cogs: "They have no 2x gravel group, Campy's gonna die!"
If Campy went with smaller rings and 10t cogs: "They're so inefficient, Campy's gonna die!" bonus response: "Ermagherd, gravel"
If Campy stuck with thumb shifter: "I need to move my wrists to shift, it's so unergonomic"
If Campy ditch the thumb shifter: "Campy's lost its identity!" see also "Tullio would be spewing"
I don't think it's unreasonable to expect that the latest and most expensive groupset on the market is better than the competition and their previous releases in every way. Design, function, performance, slimlining sizes, etc.
Noone complains about di2 releases, because with every release, it's the best on the market, in every way.
(maybe except having semi wired shifters and their powermeter)

Will be interesting today to see the real professional pics. The form from what I've seen so far is not so good IMO. Initial reaction is it looks very unpolished or high end. Will hold out hope it looks better.......

Interesting how some are crapping on it and no one has even used it yet.
Rep at rouleur said that previous crankset will work with new system.
It's OK if it's lighter than SRAM and shifts great.
