That's a world class doozie! Zipp, my wheels of choice although I'm riding 2008. Damn my minimum wage job! If I had a proper income I'd be astride something like this.MrCurrieinahurry wrote: ↑Wed Mar 22, 2023 8:58 amThis does look lovely with that EXS aerover

I think there's a few guys here who'd be very interested in some info/photos regarding what comes with the frameset, including headset/routing stuff, grommets etc for sifferent shifting options.Stendhal wrote: ↑Wed Mar 22, 2023 2:25 amMy frameset arrived today, about 10 days early. (Mike's Bikes does it again.) If my schedule and the atmospheric rain-strafed roads allow me to pick it up tomorrow, I'll weigh the frame and parts and report here.
The Vision Metron bar stem also arrived way ahead of schedule from Hungary. Advertised weight: 355g. Actual weight: 354g. Kudos to FSA / Vision for truth in advertising.
Absolutely I'll take photos, although for some reason it's hit or miss for me to post them directly on this site. Right now the build is scheduled for April 6. I plan to consult in advance with the mechanic who will be building it, the Cannondale specialist (no oxymoron or pun intended) at my local Mike's Bikes shop, on fitting the barstem. (For one thing, the parts for this bike will be coming off my Chapter2 bike, so if the build is delayed mid-stream I'll not have any bike to ride.) The video from the Australian bike shop that someone posted here (by link) discusses fitting the barstem near the end of the video.BenCousins wrote: ↑Wed Mar 22, 2023 11:39 amI think there's a few guys here who'd be very interested in some info/photos regarding what comes with the frameset, including headset/routing stuff, grommets etc for sifferent shifting options.Stendhal wrote: ↑Wed Mar 22, 2023 2:25 amMy frameset arrived today, about 10 days early. They are indeed very nice. If they were custom made to me I'd really love to see them going a bit towards the enve style bars (basically more flare).nunokas wrote: ↑Wed Mar 22, 2023 10:29 amEXS aerover are, simply put, the most sleek and good looking bars.MrCurrieinahurry wrote: ↑Wed Mar 22, 2023 8:58 amThis does look lovely with that EXS aerover

I use 38cm bars at the hoods but my measures actually suggest a 37cm bar. But then at the drops I'd prefer them to be 40-41cm. 4cm increase from hoods to drops is for me the sweet spot of things.

I wonder what weight the Look frameset have and ofcourse the cost.
I think these two are quite close.

Unfortunately they did not fix the wrong brake cable routing. There is a big hole in the bars and you can route hoses through the stem.conradhughes wrote: ↑Tue Mar 21, 2023 4:44 pmThey're using an FSA top cap there-
Also I went to LBS today and took some pics:

Lovely frame in person. Looks very 'designed' if that makes sense.

Almost cancelling my order on lab71. Just got updated again on delivery. Framesets which where not available in 54 are coming in May in the Netherlands. 0mm seatpost somewhere promised on July.
So went the full bike that was promised March/May is now at 30/08 ...
Can better wait for the himod frameset now an built something for next season. Completely insane marketing
It's seems that bikes supplied by PON are cursed. Had similar issue few years back with Cervelo that ultimately got cancelled

If you're in EU you get a weird price for Soloist. It's 1000 Euro to expensive compared to R and S5 (using american pricelist as reference).
So i would clearly go Cannondale.
So for me it wouldn't be a question

Kind of wondering if Darimo beats cannondale to the punch with an avail 0 offset seatpost.
Sadly I'm too big for the Soloist. But in just a second you'll see what the Hi Mod is about...wheelsONfire wrote: ↑Thu Mar 23, 2023 12:53 amIf you're in EU you get a weird price for Soloist. It's 1000 Euro to expensive compared to R and S5 (using american pricelist as reference).
