Yeah,I've been using them for months now. No difference between them and the 'heavy' 35g version.stevec1975 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 06, 2023 1:10 pmThe SL version of the Ridenow tubes comes in pretty accurate weight wise. this is with a 65mm Valve
Good to know, I've been using the standard version for a bit now and been curious about the SL version. Time to go order some!Steve Curtis wrote: ↑Mon Feb 06, 2023 1:24 pmYeah,I've been using them for months now. Didn't think they could get them lighter without sacrificing reliabilitystevec1975 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 06, 2023 1:10 pmThe SL version of the Ridenow tubes comes in pretty accurate weight wise. this is with a 65mm Valve

Revoloop had 24g for a few years now. A friend have them with great succes. Personally I have found the 39g revo to work just fine and too sketched out for anything lighter. Bulked up with five of 32g Ridenow tubes which I think is a really good weight.AM7Jeremy wrote: ↑Mon Feb 06, 2023 10:37 pmDidn't think they could get them lighter without sacrificing reliabilitystevec1975 wrote: ↑Mon Feb 06, 2023 1:10 pmThe SL version of the Ridenow tubes comes in pretty accurate weight wise. this is with a 65mm Valve

I got the SL ones for £8 each on Aliexpress (Cycling on the way store), although that was the price when buying 4, think they have gone up a little bit now though

Lol not really resurrecting as there have been ongoing conversations but my experience with ridenow TPUs has been positive. No issue with the plastic valve and they seem to hold up well. I did not have success with Vittoria TPUs in my 25c Conti 5k clinchers, flats near the valve on the first rides with two different tubes bought from different sources. I am interested to try the SL version discussed above.

I have maybe 1000km on them, alu rim brakes and 28mm tires.
Completely fine, no problems, weight +-1 gram of the advertised number. (Sample size of 3)
2 years with Schwalbe aerothane, 1 year with Ridenow.
Sch: No problem at all. 0 puncture.
Rid: 1 tube in my rear wheel has small leakage (near the stem of the valve) it was easily repaired with Vittoria pitstop sealant.
Result: Satisfying.
Spotted today when shopping for more of my favorite liteskin socks: They are now in the TPU game too:

But this one is 2 for $16.16 which is crazy good price. They dropped to half the price since spring last year.

You're supposed to inflate them mildly before mounting tire to avoid pinching. I did and i works well
