@dsveddy I wouldn't say the carbon is visible. Still a bit early here so will take a close up or two when the light gets better.

I wasn't thinking this frame had a transparent finish though, so wasn't expecting that in the first place. Now that you've mentioned it their listing is indeed for "Transparent Midnight Blue".

Edit - on closer inspection it is indeed transparent, just very subtle in the UK winter light. Might be a bit more obvious in direct sunlight but I can def see some of the layup through the blue paint. Can't quite get a decent photo of it though as I either get too much glare or not enough light to show it.

Sorry, probably wasn't being specific enough for the internet - No, they aren't scratches in the top layer of clearcoat or whatever. Yes, they may be scratches left over from sanding the carbon underneath that smooth layer on top.

Was just trying to anticipate any "send it back it's scratched" comments

To be fair... Those scratches do look like they are on the clearcoat. You can probably polish those out if you cared enough.

I was worried that with the reports of declining paint quality as Seka faces overwhelming demand, that they had abandoned the beautiful transparent finishes you see in the promo photos, and that I'd be waiting all this time for a frame in vain. I'm glad to see that's not the case.

You'll only really notice them at certain angles in the sun like that photo. They're nothing like as bad as a lot of stuff you see. If you see many stripped or paintless frames you'll see a lot of really bad low grit machine sanding and sand through.

Anyone had issues with seatpost slippage? Mine seems to be slipping down about 10mm from my set height every time I ride. I've put plenty of carbon paste and tightened clamp to recommended torque but no dice. Any pointers would be appreciated otherwise may have to go back to SEKA.

I was having that issue as well, I washed the seat post with dish soap and warm water, then reapplyed carbon paste. It seem to solve it.

Yea, dishsoap is a good safe grease / oil stripper.

bummer, did you try cleaning the wedge as well? I know that's a lot but you can scuff the wedge and seatpost with scotch brite then add carbon paste. Could be the seatpost is out of tolerance however.
