Try b-screw setting and bring the guide pulley a bit closer to the cogs
I'm wondering if my rear derailleur is defective.
Everything is adjusted correctly and the derailleur hanger is straight but the problem still exist.
The only thing I can change to try and see if it isn't my rear derailleur is changing my cassette and chain.

Hi

Certainly not an expert however if it was me I would reset micro adjustments then start at the beginning setting H & L screws then checking B tension with a 5mm hex wrench. Then proceed changing gears ⚙️ through the cassette and perform micro adjustments where required I had a similar issue with SRAM gear changes when my bike first arrived having now changed to a smaller 10-33 cassette and following the above process everything is perfect no lag or clicking moving through the cassette. Hopefully you get the gear changes sorted out as it certainly isn't how it should be performing 🤞.

Hi

Is anyone using Garmin Edge 1030 / 1040 with Aerofly II handlebar connected to Specialized aero mount currently have a Garmin Egde 530 not sure if the larger 1030 /1040 would actually fit.

I'm having creaking troubles. I intially thought it was bb. if i place downward pressure on the bike and move the rear wheel left and right, it creaks... Other than a spoke issue, what could this be?

I would say look at my pictures at the previous page.
It isn’t the aerofly II but that doesn’t care. It’s the Tarmac stem with aero mount and a garmin 1040 mounted on it.

1) Put the wheel out and put fresh grease on the Thru axle.
2) Check if the cassette is still locked. A loose cassette can creak
3) The seatpost that needs some cleaning and fresh grease. Lateral movement can make the seat post creak.

Do you ride with the Roval rapide wheels? Those are known for their dry bearings after some riding what could create creaking noises.

Hi

As ODC says this could be an issue with your Roval wheel if you have fitted. I had exactly the same issue with Roval Rapide CLX initially I thought it was the aero garmin mount or loose spokes on the front wheel but after getting front wheel replaced due to pot hole damage the noise disappeared.

I would also say size 54. I'm 178cm with 81cm inseam and 71,0cm saddle height.

However, you need 300mm seat post to set saddle height @ < 72.5cm. (54 frame comes with 380mm seat post)
You can also cut 380mm seat post :D

What seatpost is that?

Very nice build by the way. Really like it.
