I wear a UK11 Nike (US12) and have size 46 902s. Fit is great, for me, but a tiny bit wider would have made them 10/10 rather than 9/10.tommyboyo wrote: ↑Fri Jun 11, 2021 9:29 pmTrainers UK 10/10.5.
Foot length 278mm.
Depends on your feet, any problems and if they swell alot or not as well.

I ordered a 45. My Mavics are 44 2/3, US 10.5 and they fit me well. Let's see.
My regular LBS is giving me a good price for a pair of RC902. The problem is they don't have a pair in my size for me to try.
I wear a pair of RC7 in EU40 wide fit. I'm thinking of going for the standard fit this time round but worry that it might be too snug from the reviews I read in this thread. I looked at Shimano's site and it doesn't provide a chart on the width but instead it goes by percentage increase of overall shoes volume. Hope to get some inputs from you guys.
I'm also looking at S-works 7, (EU40 standard fits nicely) but seems like stocks aren't replenished now. Are they focusing on the variants or is a S-works 8 coming?
My measurements for reference:
Length: 249mm
Width: 99mm

RC701 in even regular are like boats compared to RC902.karw88 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 13, 2021 6:05 amMy regular LBS is giving me a good price for a pair of RC902. The problem is they don't have a pair in my size for me to try.

RC701 is my go to 'comfy' shoe, even though the soles are not as good as the higher end shoes.
Wow really?tommyboyo wrote: ↑Sun Jun 13, 2021 10:38 amRC701 in even regular are like boats compared to RC902.karw88 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 13, 2021 6:05 amMy regular LBS is giving me a good price for a pair of RC902. The problem is they don't have a pair in my size for me to try.

Agree with you on the comfort. RC701 is my 2nd pair of shoes and the only pair that I have been wearing for more than 2 years. Thinking of upgrading.
My main issue with the 902, is that the toe box is such an aggressive taper, the midfoot is nice and snug and with your width, you should be ok there, it's just that it you do not have a very specific toe shape and it you have any sort of '6th metatarsal', you will almost certainly be feeling it!!karw88 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 13, 2021 11:00 amWow really?tommyboyo wrote: ↑Sun Jun 13, 2021 10:38 amRC701 in even regular are like boats compared to RC902.karw88 wrote: ↑Sun Jun 13, 2021 6:05 amMy regular LBS is giving me a good price for a pair of RC902. Oh we have the same size feet. My LBS just ran out of 46 wide, last pair is 47. I think this will make it too long for me.ryanw wrote: ↑Fri Jun 11, 2021 11:15 pmI wear a UK11 Nike (US12) and have size 46 902s. Fit is great, for me, but a tiny bit wider would have made them 10/10 rather than 9/10.
Hope I can find a 46 wide soon. my RX8 is 46 (Fizik and SIDI i'm 46 as well) and Shimano is indeed a little narrow compared to the other 2 brands
Probably 44.5 or 45 depending how tight or loose you like your shoes. My foot is about 282mm and I have size 45 but only with thin summer socks, thicker socks I would have to go up 1/2 a size.
Thanks! This makes me feel a little better about going with a 45, I prefer looser at the front.
300 watts + for over 2 hours is pretty darn good (unless of course you are a bigger rider, then not quite so good)! Especially on the road, where it's hard to keep it constant with rolling terrain and junctions etc...
Racing on a course with traffic control makes it a bit easier
Oh yeah, that is helpful to keep the power up!!cberg wrote: ↑Mon Jun 14, 2021 9:05 pmRacing on a course with traffic control makes it a bit easier

That's interesting. My foot is just over 270 and around 100 wide and I felt like a needed the wide fit in 43 as the standard was too narrow. Just shows you really need to be able to try them on
