^It's my schtick get over yourself.

Anyway, out here we first saw the new jerseys on Justin Williams (every Saturday on the World Famous Montrose Ride) when he began to ride as a privateer. Alonso T was testing the bibs at the World Famous Rose Bowl last season. The outside the bibs straps looked pretty dope. And kudos to Assos for the intelligent and effective, um, outreach.

Well, we are sending them to Patek owners first. Rolex is a little further down the list I’m afraid!

Honestly - I don’t know. Haven’t got one myself, but you’re after a jersey on the coldest day of the year!

Haha, what about Vacheron Constantin? Have access to a cheap £580k tourbillon ;)

I'll try and make the ASC ride this weekend, but just picked up a 8w old Basset Hound pup, so may be confined to the turbo...

Waiting until 2018 to effectively market to women and minorities is so weird.
The change happened a lot earlier than that. It would have been better if we hadn't needed to change and had got it right from the beginning, but as a brand we are looking forwards and trying to be the best we can tomorrow, rather than worrying about the tone of our communications going on 5 years ago.

Hi Rich,
I received an email from X from Assos offering me free repairs of my T.Equipes that had cracked logos after one washing.
The problem for me is that I'd have to send them to Germany, meaning I'd be spending about 20 euros to get my "free" repairs. All in all it just doesn't sit right with me to spend money to get a product repaired that was defective after one washing, even if it's shipping costs. Especially not from a brand with such a premium reputation as Assos.
Also X mentioned I'd be without them for 3-4 weeks, which I find quite long. Alternatively I can just send them back to the webshop I ordered them from, claim my 1 year guarantee and get my money back, which is, as youll probably agree, the better option for me here. I also did this with the defective Ll.habu tights I bought earlier this year.
What is strange to me is that you speak of a token of goodwill, but the Assos employee mentions no such thing and only speaks about repairs? Confusing to say the least...

Besides all the bitching im sad to have to do in this post let me end on a positive note: the Mille GT Ultraz jacket I find absolutely fantastic.

Edit: Removed the name of the Assos-employee.

I've only had cracking logos on Rapha Pro Team bibs (logo printed or silkscreened on sides)...not on any of my Assos products. I've had great consistency across all Assos gear unlike Castelli.

I've had a peeling logo on my Sturmprinz. Was fixed at my cost of shipping to San Pietro di Stabio. That said I'm somewhat concerned that the RSR shorts use what looks like bonded or heat applied logos instead of sewn on like on the black RS shorts. Cracking logos are never pretty.

Agreed... in my experience those types of bonded on logos look ok for a very short time before they start deteriorating and looking not so ok anymore. They’re on the T. Equipe EVO’s I pictured earlier. Don’t have a lot of time on those yet but will be interesting to see how long the logos stay “fresh” looking.

Every pair of Rapha Pro Team shorts I've had has had cracked logos. Not ideal.

Edit: in contact with Assos to sort this out so nevermind this for now.

Rich I dropped you a mail instead since I'm not allowed to pm here due to not enough posts.

don't know if it was discussed here before, but are there more details about the assos speed club ? i like the stuff some athletes like Cav oder Williams were wearing, but the website has no information at all and after signing up, i didn't even receive a confirmation mail.

As I understand, it's very much a work in progress at present.

I'm sure just the top tier brand ambassadors have the very limited kit. Even Mr Assos himself (Rich) doesn't have it, so can't see us mere mortals getting it anytime soon.

Where have you guys found the best place to get bib-shorts online (I should qualify that I can get them direct from Assos but A$300 or $A370 is a bit exe)
I'm in Australia and its a bit of a pain trying to source either the old S7 or T Equipe Evo (which are great), or the new S9's.
Bike24 won't ship here, Wiggle are out and can't tell me when they will have more stock, etc.

Thanks..
