so based on the geometry charts, the 066 and the 069 are a bit different. the 069 has a longer wheel base. what are your opinions on the two?

And what is the best price I can expect for either of the two? I'm looking to build up a 48cm.

I have just bought the 066SL to hong fu.
I have ordered with BB30 instead of BSA, any experience with that? Stetically I really more like BB30 but should I expect any kind of creakings (my crankset are Rotor3d+ with p2M)

They have an aluminum insert for the BB30 bearings.Very thin carbon lay up around the BB area. So be careful when mounting your bearings. Better press them in rather than using a rubber hammer (have seen that).

Has anyone routed DI2 cables on the FM-069 frame? As I see it the DI2 cables should go from the junction box under the stem and into the LEFT side of the frame. The cable just can't go into the left side. Should I just make it larger?

It looks like this:

Steve, it's an FM011. Dengfu has it as well. I'm building one now, so haven't ridden it yet. My frame weights 1000 g in size 56, fork 330, seatpost 200.
FM066 is lighter has different cable routing and wider seat tube at bb.

Thanks for the quick reply, was trying to find a cheaper outlet for the FM066SL, dengfu are quoting as per below just under $730 all in, which equates to around £485! I was expecting it to cost less!

Price for FM066SL 54cm is $630., frame/fork/seatpost included
Fit for headset need $14

Costs shipping to UK is $85 by EMS

Bought a mtb 650b disc fork from Yoeleo...
Real weight is 465gr instead of 560gr specked on site....
I am happy with the weight, but a bit anxious about its durability...
What's your opinion? Should I worry?

The steer tube cracked on my FM069 (same fork as the 066 frame). 5 mm below where I usually clamped the stem. I always used a torque key/wrench to tighten everything, so no more than 5Nm. I suppose it still could have been user error. HongFu told me that it was my fault and that it's safe to ride (hah). Expected as much, but thought I'd share.

Could HongFu offer a decent price for a glossy-metallic paintjob for the frame-fork? Because the lines and shapes of the tubes are very clear and appealing, classy, but the clear finish or matte carbon ruins the looks imho.

It looks like this:

I had the same issue on mine, it was just the paint layer the prevented the cable insertion. Just use an appropriate drill bit, but by hand and it should be spot on.

I have seen this happening on other brands aswell, a crack on the steerer tube generally occurs due to stem clamp overtension.

I would recommend to use a long 52mm compression plug instead of a Neco short plug.
I used one on mine and even with all the spacers stacked theres still about 2cm left below the stem clamp for additional security.
Thank god the forks alone are not too expensive.

Yeah, I'm not too upset about it. Good excuse to buy a new frameset, ended up with a Ridley Noah.
