Mexico recently passed US as most obese nation according to WHO, go figure.
Aren't Pro Challenge team rosters due today? Froome supposedly is in, waiting to see the rest.

i think they just bet on the wrong horse for the TdF (Evans). besides, i'm not so sure Thor would've scored anything during the Tour :noidea:

Notts Forest might do well in the Championship.

Doesn't mean they have the squad to challenge in the Premier League though.

BMC has a habit of betting on the wrong horse on many occasions and then one of their support riders or dark horses wins.

Basically the ones they pay the most are the ones who win the less.

At least BMC has the top rated Belgian rider.....Greg van Avermaet....28th in the UCI rankings....not a good year for the Belgians. No disrespect to GVA at all, I think he'd have a lot more points if the team ever rode for him.

BMC just seems to be a constant stream of poor decisions and mismanagement. Hopefully they turn it around.

with all due respect, BMC's major stars' glory days belong to the past. Thor, Gilbert, Evans, Ballan, they would make a helluva team - 5 years ago

I don't. I kinda hope they implode so riders can go to better run teams. Its boring seeing talent do so poorly and have so many opportunities thrown away. GVA is a great case. BMC has more money and star power than Orica and debatably Sky, but can't get half the wins of either team.

And Tejay is not the rider of the future that they banked on. I can't seem him outriding Henao, Uran, Quintana, Froome, Mollema, Keldermann, or really any of the younger talent ever.
