I was out of my mind watching Cancellara going 55km/h and leaving the group behind no chance to catch him.
But then the camera focuses ahead and you see at least 6 motobikes in front of him. They rode side by side giving him plenty of chances to draft even if they are 20m away.

The exact same happened at Milan-SanRemo. The group would have probably not made it to the finish.

Extra wheelbase for the classics. Cool bike as well.

Media got it wrong, this is what Sagan was *actually* going for...

Must have missed it. Still funny as though.

Keep in mind that Fabian is one of the best in the world when it comes to his LT (Phinney, Martin and Wiggins may be the only rivals). I know of at least a half dozen guys I ride with who have LT of 400w. These guys are just masters and elite amateurs. It doesn't seem impossible to me for Fabian to have a threshold at or near 500.

Plus, as the above motorbike benefits from drafting.

- What weight are they, even at 80kg that is extremely impressive. At 70kg it is european pro peloton standard!

Cyclingtips - The secret Pro wrote:The talk of the peloton is about these ridiculous “aero” helmets they’re making us wear. I mean … seriously? They always put them on the big name riders first and then they start trickling down to the rest of us. You’ll see Specialized’s new helmet on Boonen right now. They had a great looking helmet and now what what they’ve done? Scott, Lazer, Kask, Uvex … almost all of them have gone backwards. We’re now on these absolutely ridiculous looking Giro helmets now and every iteration is getting worse and worse.

I'm pleased to hear that the Pro's agree on the fact that these helmets looks like sh*t.
Interresting to follow this guy anyway.

Interesting that Cancellara is racing this weekend. I thought he would have skipped it to be honest and taken the classics team to Roubaix early. Either way I hope Cav takes this weekend and Taylor Phinney takes Roubaix in a duel with Cancellara. It would be cool to watch him and Cancellara try and out TT each other to the line!

Eh, Paris Roubaix is this weekend, it is always immediately after Flanders.

Funny that a sleek helmet looks like shit, but one that looks like a swiss cheese or having been subject to a kid with an Uzi looks fine.

Swiss cheese?
I'm not fan of all non-aero helmets, but this:
