I don't think he's doping, but the UCI has a fairly strict "No Needle" policy and I wouldn't expect someone to have needle marks on both arms in successive days. If he has a medical reason to receive some injections, it is fine to get them.

Anyone thought it could actually be a needle mark from a doping control and not something dodgee at all?

*edit*

That happened quick! When I first read the article, it headlined with a picture of a broken specialized tarmac from the tour and was labeled as Alberto Contador's broken frame from the tour. Now when you load the story, it shows some generic crash photo.

This is the picture and headline I was referring to ::

I usually get big puncture marks like that, in that spot from donating blood.

Really? I think it looks great, particularly the front end... Whether it's fast is another story, but it seems to have the right ingredients for a modern, fast TT bike.

g_doraz,
You are right! If I only look at the front half, it's not bad! It's just the rear half that I don't like at all.

Sky's TT warmup procedure.

It's surely not for riders with any ambitions to well in the TT, or is it?

That's their standard warm-up procedure that is used for almost every time trial or prolouge by their contenders and the riders that are just going to get through the day. Some riders have their own personal warm-ups though.

That's a very short warm up right?

I have used that sky warm up before hard workouts on the trainer and FTP tests and really like it. It's plenty long enough if you do it right.

Saw a lot of facial stubble on the TT stage. Did they just have to wake up too early to shave or is that intentional? Just curious.
