bought a Camelbak Mule backpack from a charity shop/thrift shop for £4.99 .... I'm well pleased .... it's one of these ... the brown one (and I needed a decent backpack for long rides:

Ready for the winter with my new winter bike 8)

(my old winter bike was a 20 y.o. Colnago Dream Aluminum with 25 y.o. Dura Ace 8 seed: Now on the home trainer)

My new winter bike (hopefully it will last also 25 years): BMC RoadMachine 02 with Dura Ace R9170. Size 51cm. low head cone, no spacers. 110mm stem. 400mm handlebars. Soon with Dura Ace powermeter and DT Swiss ERC Dicut 1100 DB 47.

Current weight w/ 3T wheelset and SKS fenders but w/o pedals: 7.8kg, 17.2 lbs
Future weight w/ DT Swiss wheelset and SKS fenders but w/o pedals: 7.5kg, 16.6lbs

Fizik Cyrano Snake handlebars came in today.. 182.1g which is replacing my Zipp SLC2 177.8g (both 40cm). A little surprised that it weighs more but I figured it would be due to the more material for the full bend, only 5 grams but still.

I finally managed to acquire one of these for a good price. I'm just waiting for a couple of parts before starting the build.

Makes my replacement Kogel BB (road) and jockey wheels pale in comparison.
