You've mentioned some pretty cool parts so far. From memory you're doing a Supersix build?

Hopefully, however, I'm being tempted by a Fuji 1.1 SL frame that would leave me change to get a pair of EE brakes for roughly the same frame weight as a Hi Mod. But I'm leaning to the Hi Mod as I've parts to fit it specifically so far, and it's a sweet ride. I still want to get a Extralite MC2 chainrings and a Hyperstem. I don't think it will be a super light build as I've only got 1`set of wheels, which are Enve 45 clinchers, so not a light wheelset. I'm hoping maybe 5.5kg all up?

The Fuji is a nice looking bike, I was eyeing it up before I got my S5. Very happy on the Hi Mod now. Having to keep it race over 6.8kg is the only thing stopping me going all out on the gram shedding.

Cannondale C2 Carbon Fiber Seatpost 25.4mm 15 Offset for my CAAD12 for $79.99. Hoping once I chop it down it will be sub 200g. The Hylix 25.4mm listed on ebay claims a weight of 151g though (but a delivery time of 4-5 weeks), so I'm concerned I may have bought the wrong seatpost. Any one have personal experience with these weights/seatposts and/or suggestions? Thanks!

I've had three hylix posts, from 138g-151g. The first I broke because I was dumb, the second I'm not sure if it was me or failure. The third is .2mm thicker and much sturdier feeling. I would recommend only buying from ian28033 for hylix stuff. They other guy I have had some issues with that I reported to ebay. If I have any more trouble with hylix, I'm giving up and trying a FSA SL-K Carbon SB0. Nobody seems to make a 25.4mm zero offset carbon post.

Thanks for the info! I think I'll just stick with the "possibly heavier" Cannondale carbon stem; I'd rather have durability and quality over a slight weight savings. I'll post a weight before and after I chop it down for you weenies as well.

Compare that to the last 3 pairs of Ultremo ZXs I mounted new at 192-203g/ea.

Got another set of Scwalbe One 23c clinchers yesterday. One was 219g and the other was 232g. They've been good to me, but they're getting a little chunky.

More Schwalbe One 23c clinchers.

They pair beautifully with Challenge latex.

Second Hand Dogma F8. Little over 3000 Euros with Dura Ace 9000 (ex wheels, which were mine), with a years guarantee so I'm pretty pleased. Image
