I do like the fact that the bottom of the bike is fixed, so you can tool on the bike without the thing swinging around which is what I find happens with my other traditional type bike repair stand..

I have the same workstand. It's great, the only issue i have with it is my that my battery for DI2 is in the way for placing the bike correctly. There is not enough room for the bike to rest on the bottom bracket shell without the bike resting on the battery. If I move the bike slightly to the left it fits fine, but then the chainring rubs against the workstand.

I've tried a few of the Cobb saddles, and some of the ISM Adamos, but this one seems to work far better for me. I finally got enough pelvic rotation to slam the stem all the way down, so I'm feeling pretty good about my position right now.

As I say, the Fizik size 43 fits me well. I did a 25-mile time trial in them yesterday and of all the many ways you can suffer riding hard for an hour, my feet weren't one of them.

Thinking about it, if the arch support issue is a concern maybe you should stretch to the discounted R1 shoes which have a heat-moldable insole.

Just about to order. My feet are 270mm, and was thinking of 43 size. Live in India so I pay huge duty, and returns are not feasible. Could you share your foot length if you don't mind please?

Which one did you get? How much does it weight? Can you put small parts safely in it - like chain quick links?

I got the small one, elastic version, although it is not that small, it can hold lot of stuff and even a mtb tube. I just weghted it for you, 51g (phone camera, sorry). I talked with the guys of Speedsleev and they are modifying and updating their models often, so the one i got is exactly that one in the pictures. It has compartments for smaller parts, for example I carry a small valve adapter in it or the tube to inflate the wheels with the CO2 bottle. Anyways, perhaps the best would be to put all those tiny parts in a small zip bag and then put the bag in one of the seat sleev compartments. Their cordura version weights a bit less, about 35g in the same size, but it's not elastic. Carbon version is about the same 50g.

Here you go. A bit of a summer apparel improvement (summer has definitely hit, we are in the mid to high 30s plus about 1 million percent humidity)...
