very nice!

these Genesis are very popular here in Cambridge ....

many use them for long Audax rides and commuting .... I have a friend who has one with Compass wide tubeless tyres, mudguards, Dynamo lighting and a Carradice Barley saddle bag which he uses for a long daily commute 12 months of the year

Thanks! Happy to hear that people seem to be satisfied with this bike. The purpose of mine will also be commuting, short bike packing trips and Alaska to Patagonia in 2022 :D

Well, one of the pair turned out a dud :/

Bought my first power meter! Got the Favero Assioma Duo since they're "only" $650. Only I can't actually use them since I don't have shoes for them yet (old shoes/pedals are SPDs). Probably gonna get the new Shimano RC701 shoes from my LBS since they looks awesome and are reasonably priced.

Also bought a twin pack of Vittoria Corsa G+ 28mm with tan sidewalls since they were on sale and come with latex tubes included! Not the newest graphene 2.0 ones that just came out but I like the old ones a lot and I'm cheap so they'll be great for this year.

A scale (on Amazon) :D

So far I had to use a mechanic one from the 1920s. I hope it arrives by next week.

Snagged the last 172.5 44/30 crankset and a threaded BB86 bottom bracket & spacer kit. So now I can set up XTR Di2 mechs on my gravel bike.

^ ultimobici..

let me know how the FD works.. is that just the standard direct mount clamp. I was thinking about going with a problem solvers clamp. I'm running 48/32 on bb30 ... I read stories about the FD not being able to move enough to the left on some gravel bikes so I'd like to hear more sucess stories.

I want to switch to XTR from ultegra road level derailliers.

That was my experience setting the mech up on an Easton EC90 SL 46/36 In a BB86 shell.

The mech couldn’t move far enough inboard, hence my decision to try an XTR crankset.

Cassette. Finally saw the group in-person on Sunday. It had a power meter.
