Ordered a Pilo derailleur hanger for my Bianchi Infinito. The original one is soft and has taken some abuse. Time to straighten my gearing out.

What's the old one made of?

Does anyone know of custom makers of steel derailleur hangers? Might be a bit risky though...

Headwear paraphernalia !

Straight out of Los Angeles (Garden Grove), these caps are absolutely the best pieces of clothing money can buy.

I have been wearing Pace caps for 5 years now and they do not disappoint in any way. Because of the elastic sweatband, they are as confortable as a conventional baseball cap and they are incredible at retaining sweat.

Those are the latest style Pace offers. I love their "Mini Flip Up Visor" a lot.

Made in the USA, cheap as hell and Maria is a wonderful person to deal with. Thumbs up.

Happy customer here

If you're ever from Southern California, especially Orange County (which Garden Grove is located in), we hate to be referred to as LA or suburbs of LA.

They look great though, where'd you get them from?

Thanks a lot for the clarification, I wasn't aware of that distinction at all. Actually I just looked at google map and thought that Garden Grove was just a suburb of the LA area. But please don't shoot at me - I'm from Switzerland :D . The LA area is just as big as the state I live in here in Switzerland.

I got the caps directly from Pace in Garden Grove. I buy new ones from them every spring. They came in from southern California to Switzerland in just 4 days  . I like USPS.

A pretty soft aluminium alloy. Hoping the new one is of a harder aluminium alloy, of course, but not won't-break-before the frame-breaks hard. A stiffer hanger should improve gearing prescision somewhat.

Today I gave the "go ahead" for ..... Enve seat-post, stem & handlebars AND Super Record gruppo to upgrade my Parlee Z5SL from Record and USE
I will phone the bank manager when I'm riding it as possession is 9/10 of the law!
Seriously I can't wait to get it
Better still is the fall out - is that my Cervelo R3 SL gets the Record 11 speed gruppo (to replace the 10 speed gruppo)

Now to do some long-term field testing before bringing it to market. Is there even a market for this?
Ah, well. :noidea:

That one is the GXP version. I've also got on hand: Shimano (Hollowtech II), BB86, PF30
The BB86 one weighs 64g.

Good point! I guess I'm just doubtful whether people (non-WW, the majority) would be interested in buying lighter 3rd party bottom brackets or if they would rather go with the standard from the drivetrain brand because it's hard to compete with their volume pricing or if they would rather pay more for the 100g+ Chris King stuff.
