Trying to re-seat a 23mm Schwabe One on a V1 Pacenti SL23 rim this weekend made me finally decide to ditch tubeless tires and rims.

Just ordered a set of HED Belgium Tubular rims, that I will lace to my trusty WI T11 hubs.

HED is selling these rims for $75/ea on their website, which is crazy low for what they are.

Just received an order for four items from r2-bike.com, and I'm super happy with the prices and speed of delivery. I placed the order on Sunday, 16 September, and it showed up at my house in California on Monday, 24 September.

1) Selle San Marco Aspide Superleggera saddle - Actual weight of 107.7 grams, on sale for 147 Euro (nearly 60% off of list price)
2) 3T Ionic 25 Limited Stealth seatpost - Most people hate the Difflock system, but I love the security for my CX race bike. This discontinued seatpost was nearly impossible to find, and about the only other place I found it was at R&A Cycles out of New York for $295 USD. r2-bike.com had it, and it was on sale for 63 Euro ($74 USD). Actual weight of 211.1 grams.
3) Extra end caps for oval saddles for the 3T seatpost...just because.
4) Rex Domestique chain lube...again, just because.

My original one stopped being able to charge. Even after an internal battery swap it wouldn’t work. This newer version is 50% more expensive, does full HD, and did not come with s memory card (WTF!!). This was a questionable purchase the first time around. Even more so this time aroundImageImageImage
