Be very interested in a ride report when you have. Also for a report on durability as heard the spokes can be a bit fragile...ome rodriguez wrote: ↑Mon Feb 05, 2024 10:20 pmHaven't ridden it yet, some photos.

Finally got these built up. Ended up using DT aerolite spokes. First ride will be in a couple of days. 1440g no rim tape and around $150 cheaper.nickf wrote: ↑Fri Dec 08, 2023 12:05 amAlloy wheel build. Mostly for the travel bike and also for those soggy wet winter rides. Will be built up with cxray and cxsprint DS rear. Should be sub 1500g.
New Boyd cycling rims 20/24 hole. 21mm internal width.
Novatec AS511SB FS522SB hubs. These have become my go to hub. Great durability, easy maintenance, and ok weight.
The factory built Boyd wheels are pushing 1620g.
@spdntrxi, receive my Bbinfinite coated (Ita) to replace the SRAM. Very happy with the result

@spdntrxi,
While coasting down the final climb on Zwift's climb portal, my Hammer just started to freewheel. No lights and after 5 years, it finally died. Who says things always break down at the wrong time?
I bought a new H3, shipped to my door for $552. Brand new from Saris, not complaining about the price either.

Don't sand that stuff! The paint is much much softer and than the resin. When you get down to the base, the paint will move around more than the resin and you'll start removing large patches of resin but not much paint - especially at the finer grits. You'll end up with an ugly, patchy item. Use this instead - https://www.nationaltoolwarehouse.com/A ... yMEALw_wcB
That’s a nice weight. Only reason to sand was to remove graphics?UpFromOne wrote:Elilee X-Novanta cranks in 172.5 showed up today, so I promptly sanded down the clearcoat for a few more grams. Sorry for huge pic.

Udog Cima with laces replaced for colour, 659g on the scale, - 86g maybe for cleats/bolts so around 573g for size 44. They list this as EU44/US10.5, and usually I wear shoes that are labeled as EU44.5/US10.5, and needed something wide at the front foot like the Bont wide version too. Luckily this is a perfect fit for length and ok fit for width (left foot is a little squished width-wise). Very low toe box volume which I like cos it adds to the 'fitting' feel, and I think laces will make it stay secure more so than boa dials.
