Does anyone know what the face shields are that Garmin uses on their Giro TT helmets? Are they retrofitting the face shields from another brand or did Giro make something new for them?

Somewhere I heard or read that one of the Garmin guys cut the front out of a barbie doll box and used that for a shield.

I'll see if I can find the link where I read that or remember where I heard that.

The ones Zabriskie and Millar were using at World's looked like the face shield from a Garneau TT hemet. They were far too well-made to be the Barbie-doll solution. I remember reading about that too though. Thanks.

Bought the Garneau several years ago and kept the face shield and now it's on my Giro; works great.
