Well, that is not the most trustworthy ad I have seen. But it is not necessarily a scam - see this: http://www.team-csc.com/pages.asp?pa_id ... der_menu=4

I would expect some paper proving authenticity to follow (not that I'm in any way tempted).

I can see buying a bike that has some history, but 10k for a used bike that never won a race?

Come on, it's charity. Those who have and wish to help shouldn't really care if it has won something or not. It's a great bike and a good deed.

Charity.. Only a fool pays 10.000$ to someone on ebay with zero feedback for a bike like this, claiming it's for a good cause. I'd rather build the same bike myself and send the remainder of the 10.000$ budget directly to a charity.
