I'm trying to find out what lightweight walkie talkie / phones get used by pro teams as am looking to get a set for group rides in hilly areas?

Anyone got any experience of these? Can give me any brand/model names?

Regards

David

I can get you a brand name later today.

I do know that most of them are motorola, and expensive.

I actually forgot to look on the last day of work. I emailed someone else who worked there and the best answer I got was that it was Motorola brand and smaller than normal walkies.

I'll try to look when I go to pick up my check in a couple weeks.

Really sorry guys :(

My favorite cell phone yet. 71.2 g with battery, which lasts 3+ hours of talk time, and it survives drops much better than the fancy pants blackjacks etc.

I once looked into this to find a real light walkie talkie. From all the problems some teams have and that it would be nice to have my own. I spent hours on the web and there is not much out there for a nice light one. so I hope someone here can find something.

Likely the Alinco handheld model.
