Which leak proof bottles ?!?!

+ 1 on the Specialized purist or little big mouth bottle. I get a lot of miles from these bottles. Hand washing will help them last longer without leaking. I prefer the "standard" lid, better IMO if you want two consecutive sips. Hate the watergate, fixy or Moflo lids.

I agree with all of this. These are the only bottles I use anymore. I flirted with the alternative lids but found that they aerate the water too much when trying to drink fast which makes it hard for me to hydrate without swallowing a bunch of air. I went back to the standard lids which are more prone to leaking, but whatever. I'd rather live with a few drops of liquid periodically than suffer from chugging aerated water.

Maybe a bit off topic, but does anybody else have problems with Camelbak Podium Chill bottles. The old ones 750ml were great. These new ones (couple of years now) in 710ml are just really bad. Way harder to squeze. I need to take the bottle out of the cage and then throw a bit more up in my hands to get the placement well, so I can squeze normal, otherwise it is much harder to squeze.

When old model went out, I purchased some spare ones, but ultimatelly had to go to new model last year. I use insulated bottles all year, and the bigger the better, as my routes have few re-filling places and I am a big sweater.

Maybe some alternatives? Or better yet, on which bottles can I just simply screw the Camelbak Podium top cap, as I really like their system.

My Podium lids fit on my wife's Elite Fly bottles, don't know how leak proof they as not used them in anger.

I was tired of my lightweight elite bottles, they continuously leaked and my frame was dirty all the time.
Recently have decided to buy interestingly looking bottles available in decathlon. They are slightly heavier but they don’t leak at all. Highly recommended!
