Sad news this morning. He made the best bikes I ever raced. A great guy that really helped shape the carbon frame industry.

Sad indeed. I will never sell my Parlee. Love the ride feel. While the man was a pioneer, it is disappointing what has happened to the brand. As the major manufacturers advanced their products, Parlee is stuck. While the RZ7 was bold for it's time, and the Altum was an excellent off the peg monocoque frame, the current lineup offers no halo product to generate market excitement. Current models feature ridiculous looking sloping top tubes and questionable geometry. While the Z-Zero full custom bike was always the heart of brand, the value proposition of the Z-Zero is now poor considering the other top frames on the market.
