A film about love, cycling, and the love of cycling.

Mom: He was very sickly until he started riding around on that bicycle.
Dad: Yeah... well... now his body’s fine, but his mind is gone.

 How could I forget some MTB...

Where the Trail Ends

Three Minute Gaps

Life Cycles

Deathgrip
The "Deathgrip" allowed me to find my dream. I tried to find myself in tennis, basketball, and football sports. However, only cycling (and this video) gave me pleasure on my way to the roads, and sometimes cycling tournaments. It is an absolute pleasure.

I am glad that there are people who watched that video as well :3

Not going to be a popular answer but Road to Paris. Great inside look at US Postal navigating the spring classics as well as Lance doing his spring blocks. Very well done documentary.

In Germany the default answer is Höllentour, a slow-paced documentary about the 2003 Team Telekom (Zabel, Aldag, Winokurov, that's the year when Ullrich wore Bianchi). But the real answer is Männer auf Rädern, a 1993 drama/documentary mashup about MAMIL culture long before it got that name. Featuring interview excerpts with an actual World Champion (of rally driving)

I wouldn't say it's a good movie, but the skilled displayed in RAD is quite impressive.

I agree, some of the Lance stuff was fantastic, it was a great time to be a fan (I'm British as well so no US bias).
I disliked Lance when i first watched him in 93 but by 95 I was a big fan, I even bought a Motorola jersey.

Even if anime is not your cup of tea, go check out 'Nasu: Summer in Andalusia', and its follow up 'Nasu: A Migratory Bird with Suitcase'. It's not your typical shonen (teenage boy) cringe fest, but more focused on the life of a not-so-successful pro at around early '00 era, and animated in Miyazaki style (my favorite!). You can definitely tell that this is made by someone who is deep into the cycling scene, and the amount of little details only cyclists would notice is astonishing. I also got lot of chuckles on how creative they get over brand names so to not infringe upon licensing issues.

"these days athletes are doing performance enchancing drugs, we were doing performance detracting drugs" - John McEnroe

srsly, not about cycling obviously, but these tennis flicks are a great watch - "McEnroe" (doc) and "Borg vs. McEnroe" (drama) are a must watch for any sports fan
