Nice. Never seen so many road bikes on a velodrome but I guess with the lack of banking, there is little risk of the issues normally associated with pedal strikes on high banked velodromes?

No risk. It's a 460m outdoor concrete track and the turn banking is minimal. Decent turnout yesterday but in the years before smart home trainers, there could be 50 riders on track, of mixed ability, which was interesting and also fun.

Exactly, the Lake Geneva photo is taken from Lavaux (just after Lausanne)
