Hello are the 2018 and 2021 cranks the same exact thing or has any technology changed in the 2021? Thank you

they are the same but good luck finding a 2021 gxp crankset, I beieve a very limited run were made so certain World Tour teams had decent bearings in their BB86 frames.

i found one but its a 2018 version. looks exactly like the 2021 but i heard sram discontinued the 11 speed gxp cranks which is a little discouraging if anything happens to this one i'm getting.
