What was the jersey Woods was wearing on Saturday? Some kind of super light climbers jersey? Just looked like a tight shirt without a zipper.

You mean during the podium ceremony?
I think he's talking about the jersey or skinsuit he's wearing (and the commetators are discussing) in this clip https://www.flobikes.com/collections/70 ... ng=7102029

Probably something similar to what UAE had three years ago, made by Champion Systems, I'm not sure what company makes ISUN kits.

So much for the 'Meilensteinkiller'...two weeks into the Tour and the Meilensein is back in the mountainstages with most riders.

When Ineos started using the Meilensteins, they said it was the extra stiffness the riders liked when climbing, more than the weight... given their construction, they might still have that edge compared to standard laced wheels.

Maybe if the rider is Ganna, but the stiffness benefits to a 60kg Carapaz are going to be very very marginal given the corresponding aerodynamic loss.

But they 'feel' harsher, which means many assume they are stiffer and thus faster in old school thinking. True or not, if the riders think it helps, they want it even though it may not make any real world difference.

There is horizontal stiffness - sideways deflections. Here is LW okay especially compared to the weight. Then there is torsinal stiffness - how much the hubs rotates compared to the rim, which basically transfers to how direct the transfer of load from chain to road feels. Responsiveness. Here is LW second to non IMO - maybe except Bora/Campag with their G3 lacing, which also makes the wheel feel VERY responsive.

When you combine torsinal stiffness with light weight you get a very responsive wheel which excels in accelerations.

Bioracer supposedly will be providing Ineos with clothing according to Belgian commentators

Not new tech but I was curious what non-sprinters use in terms of front chainrings on flat and rolling stages? Given average speeds are often around 45km/h, even on 52/11 it would be very high cadence to keep up that speed, especially considering half of the time they probably spend over 50. Do most just use 53 or anything bigger still?

I don't think any pro is ever on anything less then a 53 as the big ring. Even when riding 34 or 36 as the small chainring.

Wow after that big denial by Castelli ....I wonder what happened?
I would be surprised if Bioracer offered more of anything
