Gotta love the weight weenie bit about “it’s just under 7 kg but with a bit of tweaking we can get it to the UCI limits of 6.8...”

btw, my Shimano Ice Tec rotors don’t rub, overheat, discolor or warp.

Er, why is froome's bike still above the weight limit with an 800g frame, DA, and what look like 30mm wheels? lead rotors?

That’s because of the disc brakes!

yeah, that's a lot of money to be using those cheap Atop dials. They look nice but that heel could fit two of my heels in there.

These? My set came with 6 bolt disc brakes and now have to look for new centerlocks. Don't know which ones to buy so good to read that.

Yes, or MT900 are also very good. I'd go for the latter if you can find them

Clasica Almeria: Gazprom the only team with rim brakes.

Gazprom with Colnago-Campagnolo RIM brakes. UAE with Colnago-Campagnolo DISC brakes.

The Star Casino team is sponsored by Spez, and all the women ride Crux rigs. Curious about Eva Lechner riding the whole 20-21 cx season on a Crux labelled as 'Trinx'. How does that work? That seems like quite the exception within a team.

I know Trinx is her mtb sponsor, I'm betting Star Casino has to pay wholesale for their Specialized bikes so the team principles don't care if she rides with a different logo on it. Much like Ineos and Shimano. Froome and Wiggins both rode funky chainrings and Shimano wouldn't give them product if they didn't run the complete setup. Still think most of the reason Brailsford doesn't run discs is just to be a thorn in the side of Shimano's marketing plans. Ineos is the only World Tour team not on discs and Shimano is now nuetral tech support for every race with Mavic gone, wouldn't surpise me at all if an Ineos rider tried to get a Neutral wheel they'd tell them, "yeah , we don't support that old technology".
