Newsflash: there are tens (maybe hundreds) of millions of rim brake bikes in existence on this planet, and not everyone wants to or can afford to go buy new ones just because the industry decided it had a new standard. Maybe you can. Good for you.

Apologies to those with hurt feelings, I was only thinking of the many comments in this forum about Ineos sticking with rim brakes.

I have GP Denain on live silently in a window and... I can confirm Ineos are on discs.

Lol, Sir Dave was the rim-brake fanatic.

GP Denain looks fantastic, reminiscent of Paris-Roubaix. Narrow lanes, cobbles and dirt, under autumn sunshine.

I prefer the classics racing in autumn, beautiful light and colours. Lombardy is a favourite race for this reason.

The same with the Grand Tour racing last year in the autumn, beautiful light, much nicer than the summer.

We can also hope for some interesting weather at Paris-Roubaix.
