Saxo Bank (if that’s what Riis’ team was called at the time) changed from Assos to something else mid season.
Bianchi-Campagnolo
The Specialissima
Gylne Gutuer, the UCI 1.2 bike race I invented.

Bahrain had also been using Le Col last year which was the first time a world tour team had. I remember hearing Yanto Barker (Le Col founder and CEO) on a podcast over the winter saying they had a larger partnership with McLaren, who last minute asked if they wanted to sponsor the team when it became Bahrain-McLaren. Once McLaren was replaced, they were basically ghosted by the team about continuing and are now looking for a 2022 world tour contract. There definitely seems to be some odd stuff going on there.

Le Col stuff for pro teams are/were made by Nalini.
Exactly like Rapha used to do.

The change from Nalini to Ale probably depends on what kind of contract they had.

I’m not sure why Ineos were so deceptive about Pidcock. I very much doubt he was/is hurt. He just wants to race MTBs this summer.

Getting the BMC dialed in pretty well.

Can’t tell if he’s on the Syncros wheels or not.

^They were CSC-World Online at the time.
Not an amiable split. Assos were out of the peloton for a long time afterwards.

Didn;'t know where to post this, but here goes -

https://www.cyclingnews.com/news/colnag ... t-auction/

If I'm reading this correctly, for the low price of 5000 Euro, Colnago will sell you a unique digital render of a bike. Not an actual bike. Maybe I lack imagination, but this strikes me as the stupidest Effing thing EVER. Though it confirms what I've suspected for a long time - there's no connection between the price of a real bike, and its actual intrinisc value. it's more about brand and image. Eff Colnago.

it's not just a digital render, it's an NFT, so well worth 5000 ;)

It's like everything crypto. Moronic, built for tech-bros and wasting actual resources.

Makes me embarrassed to own one.

Who designed that? Not a single Mapei cube on it.

I have to say that as Colnago's go, that is one ugly mofo!!

It would crack me up if an importer somewhere stripped down a bunch of Colnagos and repainted them in this scheme. Or if the Chinese knocked it off.

At home we have Apple family account (on my credit card!!) - so I end up paying for all App store purchases.

My wife plays some puzzle game with in app purchases and could not go further in the game. That day I found in my email a receipt that she had made an in-App purchase for virtual bombs to proceed in game, €9.99 or some crazy amount.

Everytime she tells me I spend too much money on the bike I remind her she bought some virtual bombs! :D

EF has done it again. They just won the "alternative jersey" hands down, compared to what Jumbo is doing for the TdF.

here is a screen render, saved you $5000. Seriously though, after taking a closer look at the renders, I am wondering if that is the next iteration as there are subtle differences such as the joints between tubes and lugs look different as well as the seat post/seat stay junction.
