Yeah...why not?

Nah...just kidding!

The water was flowing over the road fast enough that I wouldnt dare, not to mention that there is no way to see the drainage ditches that normally run parallel to the road and if the road had washed away, submerged debris, etc

Turned around and went and did half a dozen hill repeats and road easy on Sunday instead.
Australia (unfortunetly, much like the UK) is not car friendly so I dont ride any main roads after 8:00am on weekends.

That made me laugh but totally true.
.

Yeah i second that. They seem to see how close they can get without knocking you off.
I only ride through the hills in Adelaide where there is a hard shoulder. No main roads at all.

And for those of us who are not sophisticated enougbh to keep abreast of Australian/New Zealand slang:
Bogan (/ˈboʊɡən/ BOHG-ən) is Australian and New Zealand slang for a person whose speech, clothing, attitude and behaviour are considered unrefined or unsophisticated. ... The prevalence of the term bogan has also been associated with changing social attitudes towards social class in Australia.

Not my photos but a bunch of us did a 200kms 5000m ascent route. But at the end it turned out to be 4450m apart from the three who did hill reps till they hit 5000! ImageImageImage

I really dont think that the terms bogan and sophisticated belong in the same sentence....if you get my drift
