As a tourist driver in Naples, I had the novel experience of getting honked at for obeying stop signs.

Just watched it this am, a great race. The leading duo held off Demare and Stuyvens longer than I would have expected.

The pavé is interesting, but only if Bernal, Pogacar and Roglic make it to the first mountains safely. No one wants the case of last year with only one top GC rider left. I like the stage to Granon and also Alpe d'Huez. some classics. Like many fans I am bored with La Planche des Belles by now but some excitment can be added with the gravel finish. Great to see the lack of Pau and Tourmalet for one time, I find that same route very boring.

I am very excited for the Femmes parcours - this takes the riders in the Vosges in the final days which will make for some fantastic racing. It would have been easy for organisers to take the race up some iconic climbs in the alps but this would have been boring. The roads of the Vosges always mean exciting racing. I cannot wait for this race.

i checked out the route it looks prety good. Grannon is a tuff climb to finish on.. lots of great climbs, bit weird that the weekends are more faltter / sprint stages but it looks prettygood to me. Aubisque /Spandelles is a great combo too !

Does anyone know what the kurfuffle over at USA crits is about? I gather a MD named Morris got fired from the promotions team over some misconduct, as a result a few teams have pulled out of the series. Mostly, I'm curious if the misconduct has been thoroughly investigated and substantiated, and the person in question received some semblence of due process. Secondly, if accusations were substantiated and the guy fired, why are teams quitting the series?
