He said a Cervelo cx bike is in the works for next year
And probably in the next year he rides Pinarello 🤷
Eventually Pina also needs to prepare some legit cx bike for Pidcock ;)
When does Pidcock's Ineos contract commence? He was still in his Trinity kit at yesterday's cross in Baal.
Was watching race this morning, Pidcock goes to Grand Canaria to start training with Ineos tomorrow, they said he will continue to ride for Trinity for CX though, J Pow went on long rant about equipment changes, weird fitting skin suit chamois..

A shout out for Celine del Carmen Alvarado. Her attack in the final half lap in Baal to distance Lucida Brand was pure animal agression. Not just raw power, but very skillful bike handling as well. Her ability to go deep is very Van der Poel'esque. If you have not seen it, worth viewing the last lap of the race.

She is superior to most of her competition on her feet as well - quicker, more coordinated. A fantastic athlete. Wonder if we will ever see a serious road campaign. Surely she is capable of winning on the road.

Yesterday was an example of a CX rider with MTB experience against a rider from a road background; she doesn't have the power of Brand, but is far better technically.

She did some road in the summer for the Roodhooft brother's team - but she is hoping to make the Olympic MTB race at 2024 Paris. She won an U23 World Cup in Nove Mesto, then took a bronze in the U23 Worlds at Leogang; then turned up at a CX race the next day and won.

This year’s Israel jersey might fit last year’s shorts. Big improvement.

Team Israel with HJC helmets. https://www.instagram.com/p/CJj5ic9H2LC/

I wonder if Froome will wear SciCon glasses or will get a personal Oakley deal as Cav did last year at Bahrain

Cavendish looks like he's got dressed backwards and tucked his jersey into his bibs.

the Mitchelton Scott kind of looks like they've pulled up just their underwear above the jersey, or more coloqially, been given a wedgie, with that pattern at the bottom.

I like the new designs on the bianchis, something more modern and up to date, a contrast with their latest gravel bike

That was a good race, as Celine was making that pass to get in front of Brand for the whooped out muddy descent to make her final bid for the finish line. I always root for Celine of all the Dutch girls and its great to see her mom out on the loop yelling words of encouragement in Spanish. Its always a boatload of Dutch girls at the front but good to see Vas and Honslinger squeezing in the front now.
