Lefevere is that old man with no filter on his mouth. Since he is the king of the DQS there seems to be nobody that can slap him down. And his sponsors seem to look the other way.

The stuff he said about Rémi Cavagna and Tim Declercq is just insulting to those riders. I cringed when I read it.
Yeah, imagine being Declerq, having just buried himself every day for 3 weeks at the tour then waking up one day to find his boss has bitchslapped him in the media for no reason other than he was making a point about another rider he doesn't like.

Some wolfpack.
The secret of then Wolfpack is they band together against Lefevere.

It's unrealistic to think that riders unite against their boss who pays their salary. But imagine what they must think when they read statements like this...
Sooner or later sponsors won't be able to close their eyes and will need to pull out. After all they are linked directly to the team and opinion and views of the team's management.

Oh, another thing. Imagine this guy being a directeur sportif of a women's team. Oh my...

Fun should start tomorrow (today already in some parts of the world), with the opening of official transfer season today (assume no news releases because it's a Sunday).

German women just destroyed the 4k team pursuit world record.

Also, my TV must be broken, it's showing the US pursuit bikes with the chainset on the wrong side.

Good ride from the Brits. Hope bike finally gets an outing and it's not a lemon.

I thought the GB team might smash the record also, but they went out too fast. I think the GB bike does not look so ugly as I thought.

Amazing from the Germans!

They had that at Rio. Puts it on the slower side of the bike through the turns.

Austrailia, ouch!

It hurts just looking at those burns from the track.

Was it an actual break/failure or a part coming loose due to bad torques. I think the bars came off at the stem, headset??

Maybe it makes sense when actually being ridden. We'll soon find out.
Did not help in the slightest, at least in the first round

How about that crazy crash of Alex Porter!
Basebar just snapped and he went face first into the boards
Was watching it live when it happened and I still cant believe he got up and walked away from that.

Had skin taken off his nose (from bridge to tip!) and his chin.

Helmet definitely saved him from an extremely serious injury

The Dane's are ridng the same bikes (Argon 18), not sure if they are also using the same bars though

Amazing effort for Porter to get up and try again.. But can see he wasn't quite right and dropped first which wasn't the original plan. Too bas they dropped to 5th and doesn't get a rerun for medals.

Have had a look, they're using a full wattshop setup which uses their own base bar. Canada are using the argon one though, pretty surprising failure tbh.
