Just to pile on here, Primoz Roglic won the Vuelta on Disc brakes, Enric Mas on the movistar team came in second also on disc brakes. I guess movistar figured out how to adjust and fix disc bikes. (Along with some sort of strategy, i agree as other have said that they are just the worst team ever)

Not that I really care, but how can somebody say Movistar is worst team ever whatever the topic is (tactics, mechanics, etc.).

I guess a combination of being pretty f*cking stupid and reasonable level of initiative.

Well. They won five TdF in a row. Granted it was with Indurain and Campag rim brakes.

Is no-one measuring sock height at the Tour of Britain? Several days now I've noticed Conti riders with aero socks that look like football socks.

The Brits have been using crazy long socks the last couple years, must be the in thing because of wattshop guys.

okay the team members are generally good, there tactical skill seems to leave something to be desired. the team members that leave and go elsewhere seem to do pretty well.

I can't believe Evenpoel did so much work for Cobrelli just now at the European championships. Did Evenpoel really care about second? After he couldn't drop Cobrelli on the last climb, it seems like he should have gotten on Cobrelli's wheel and not moved and then tried to take him from 800m to 1km out.

Colbrelli should be the best sprinter among the bunch (if both let the gas off to wait for the chasing group) and Remco is meh in sprint. Colbrelli should be the happiest man either way (Remco do all work or do nothing) and would just sit up and win in bunch sprint.

The 1km out is flat, Remco could not get rid of Colbrelli and would just let Colbrelli win earlier. See how Remco easily let Colbrelli take the last corner....

Lack of experience, or just riding "old style" (thinking Colbrelli won't jump him at the 400 m since he did all the work).
Colbrelli looked at the limit many times, but had Trentin not far back, so he wouldn't take turn at any cost. Did Belgium have a man in the pursuit group ?

Another data point on disc brakes and team ability. At the Antwerp Port Epic ALL Alpecin-Fenix team riders have handles on their wheel thru axles so if presented with a puncture they can switch wheels between teammates. Also the rider can remove the wheel BEFORE the nuetral service arrives. I've said it before, when INEOS goes disc they will have all this bullshit figured out and most teams ineptitude to figure discs out will be pretty apparent.

Most other teams have discs figured out and aren't having issues. Ineos are still on rims due to the limitations of the weight of their Pinarello frames.
