In throwback news, Attila the Hun(garian) is leading the Giro. Which is, of course, way cool.

Yeah right it's the UCI's fault (!). Driver keep your eyes on the friggin' road. He should be chucked off the race.

But it really is - it created more demand for vehicles, and yet - for years we are all calling for smaller fleet of cars, motos and unnecessary redundant items that puts more dangers on riders; of course - here it is the driver, but UCI with new "rules" made the mess. Same goes with fines fir riders - like mr. B. got two months for doing the same things that landed another rider a 9 month ban - and I thought that not the outcome was penalised but the conduct...

No it is not the UCI's fault that a driver knocked a rider off his bike. Get a grip.

Meanwhile in stage 7 the break has gone up the road not even at kilometre 0, but at metre 0. Three guys sprinted off the front as the commissaire's car pulled away from the bunch. Bunch seems content.

Yes DS that was driving has been booted off the Giro and BEX fined. Everyone has apologized to DQs and Serry, accepted in turn.

That should be case closed.

But it really is -
It really isn't. If the driver wasn't paying enough attention while interacting with the comms car then he'll have not been paying enough attention any number of other times as well. An accident waiting to happen.

Never understood why DS are allowed to drive team cars!

The cream rises to the top: MvdP vs TP! Great short track XC race on Redbull.TV.

Red bull tv is hard to watch
jerky 30fps videos produced from 50fps materials (it will look better if they will show 25fps or 50fps)
for replays they are using live stream copy, instead of making higher quality video replay after broadcast

I don’t have a problem with the livestreams, the replays should be higher quality

My bet is on Attila Valter holding on the pink until Zoncolan.
I'd be surprised if he could keep up there, but tomorrow I don't see why not.
He is no worse than last year's Almeida, but of course last year there were nobody of Bernal's calibre in the race. (Look where Hindley is now)

It's a great Giro so far, I like it! But then, I'm Hungarian too :)
